Jane Greenfield - President
Jane Greenfield is president of Vanguard Charitable, a national donor-advised fund and one of the nation's top grantmakers. Prior to joining Vanguard Charitable in 2015, Ms. Greenfield held a number of positions as a principal at Vanguard in the Institutional, Retail, and Financial divisions. Before joining Vanguard in 2001, Ms. Greenfield spent 16 years in the banking industry. She holds Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses, and the CIMA® designation. She has served on various nonprofit boards, including Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital, People's Light and Theatre, and United Way Women's Initiative. Ms. Greenfield earned a B.A. in economics from the College of William and Mary and an M.B.A. from Drexel University.
Ann Gill - Chief Philanthropic Officer
Ann joined Vanguard Charitable in September 2013 following a multi-decade career in banking with Wells Fargo and its predecessor banks. Ann's experience is in leading various sales, service and credit teams focused on the Financial Institutions, Healthcare and most recently Higher Education and Nonprofit Banking sectors. Ann brings expertise in strategy development and execution, credit risk and sales management, and talent development. Ann has been active in numerous community boards most recently, Women's Way, Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Foundation and Rosemont Presbyterian Children's Village.
Carla Gentile Ries - Director of Operations
Carla joined Vanguard Charitable more than 14 years ago and has held a number of positions within the organization. She currently leads the operations area, with a focus on efficiency gains and client experience. Carla earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Villanova University, and is a Project Management Institute®-certified Project Management Professional (PMP)®.
Rebecca Moffett - Chief Strategic Planning Officer
Rebecca is a long time Vanguard Charitable employee with nearly ten years of experience with donor-advised funds. Her skill set encompasses a wide range, including marketing, strategic planning, and team management. Rebecca is focused on building awareness of the benefits of strategic philanthropy and is committed to improving donors' giving experiences. In her charitable endeavors, Rebecca is an alumnus of Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Eastern Pennsylvania and is also active in her church community. She earned her Bachelor's degree and M.B.A. from Saint Joseph's University.
Elaine Kenig - Research and Strategy Group, Senior Manager
Elaine joined Vanguard Charitable in 2012, and is currently leading the Research and Strategy Group. Elaine leads a team of data analysts and project managers who work to uncover insights about our donors and nonprofit partners that can be leveraged into strategies and tactics to increase philanthropy and maximize its impact over time. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Lehigh University and M.P.A. from The University of Pennsylvania.
Greg Murray - National Sales Executive
Greg joined Vanguard Charitable in 2017 as a national sales executive. He works closely with advisors to help them support their clients' charitable intentions through a holistic wealth management approach. Previously, Greg worked for Hartford Mutual Funds, RS Investments, and O'Shares Investments. Greg holds a bachelor's degree in business marketing from Albright College.
Jessica Halpern - Operations Manager
Jessica has been with Vanguard Charitable for 4 years, previously served as Grants Team Leader and is now an Operations Manager. She has a broad range of experience including team management, strategic planning, and compliance. Jessica is focused on building awareness on the advantages of granting with a donor-advised fund and leads a team who works diligently to protect the tax deductions and philanthropic intentions of our donors. In her free time, Jessica is passionate about volunteering at MANNA, a Philadelphia based nonprofit focused on delivering nutritious meals to members of the local community. She earned her Bachelor's degree from The University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Sean Gordon - Marketing Team Leader
Sean has served in a variety of roles in his eight years at Vanguard Charitable. He leads the Marketing team which is responsible for marketing communications and media relations, with a focus on improving the awareness of the benefits of donor-advised funds. Sean is an alumnus of Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence Region and Best Buddies - Penn State Chapter. he earned his Bachelor's degree from Penn State University and M.B.A. from Drexel University.
Jessie Neff - Project Manager - Technology
Jessie has been with Vanguard Charitable for 10 years, and previously served as Human Resources Manager. She is now a Project Manager in the Technology department. She has experience in compensation, benefits, performance management, recruiting, people leadership, and project management. Jessie is currently focused on projects to improve the online experience for our donors. Jessie earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware and holds both the PHR and SHRM-CP certifications.
